REASON FOR LOSS:
The aircraft released twelve bombs, which dropped near Becton Gas Works; shortly after the aircraft was attacked by a Spitfire and two of the crew baled out, the parachute of one failing to open. Aircraft came down under control but hit a coal dump, broke up and caught fire.
