REASON FOR LOSS:
This aircraft took off from its base at Wiesbaden/Erbenheim to intercept enemy aircraft. In the area of the Messerschmitt Werke at Regensburg, this pilot was shot down in combat with a P-47 Thunderbolt of the U.S.A.A.F. and his aircraft came down at Leidenhofen.
